About the Role
As an IT Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the reliable installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure at nationwide locations.
Responsibilities
- Transport, setup, connection, and commissioning of PCs, monitors, printers, servers, UPS systems, and network components (firewalls, switches, routers, and WLAN technology).
- Installation, replacement, and commissioning of hardware and network components.
- Performance of function, power supply, and connection tests.
- Analysis and resolution of hardware, network, and power supply problems.
- Processing of technical faults, support during unplanned service calls, and independent execution of installations and rollouts.
- Documentation of installed systems and performed work, as well as maintenance of inventory and stock levels.
- Preparation of deliveries, tools, and installation materials.
- Coordination and communication with internal contacts, customers, project managers, and external service providers.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in information technology, electronics, or electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Good knowledge in computer and network technology, as well as experience with Microsoft operating systems and standard applications.
- Knowledge in handling printers, copiers, and peripheral devices.
- Basic knowledge of IP telephony, telephone systems, and camera and security systems is advantageous.
- Manual dexterity and strong technical understanding.
- Experience in project work, inventory management, and material planning is desirable.
- Proficient German language skills and basic English language skills.
- Independent, structured, and responsible way of working, as well as service and customer orientation.
- Friendly and professional demeanor, as well as pragmatic and cost-conscious action.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and a driver's license class B (BE advantageous).
