About the Role

Change Grow Live is a charity recruiting a Receptionist for their busy Lewisham service. The role involves being the first point of contact, greeting visitors, and providing a warm and friendly welcome. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the substance misuse field, with a focus on personal and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service users and visitors receive a friendly and efficient service.
• Maintain a welcoming and tidy reception area.
• Ensure displayed client information is current and relevant.
• Encourage service user feedback.
• Provide basic advice and information on the service offer.
• Manage an effective appointment system, liaising with keyworkers.
• Check appointments on the CGL information system and book future appointments.
• Take messages for staff and update case management contacts.
• Support the team in managing/booking appointments via the electronic diary system.
• Maintain accurate records of all contacts on case management systems.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general office procedures.
• IT literacy including proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets and data entry.
• Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the post.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
