About the Role
The Commercial Manager is a strategic partner to the UK&I Managing Director, responsible for supporting and driving revenue growth, commercial performance, and execution of business strategy. This role sits at the centre of the UK&I business, ensuring that Worldpanel’s insight leadership is translated into measurable commercial outcomes—for both clients and the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Support development and delivery of the UK&I commercial strategy and growth agenda
- Translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable commercial plans
- Provide market, competitor, and client insight to inform decision-making
- Drive delivery of revenue, margin, and pipeline targets
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across existing and new clients
- Strengthen pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and conversion rates
- Support development of pricing strategies and commercial propositions
- Oversee commercial policy including pricing, discounts, and contract T&Cs, guaranteeing regional consistency
- Ensure Salesforce processes (approval matrix, licenses, performance metrics, etc.) are adhered to
- Position Worldpanel as a trusted, strategic partner
- Translate shopper insights into clear commercial recommendations and actions
- Identify opportunities across key UK&I market dynamics (e.g., omnichannel, value vs premium trends)
- Champion data-driven decision making across the business
- Ensure analytics and insights are effectively translated into commercial opportunities and revenue growth
- Strengthen storytelling and value articulation to internal stakeholders
- Work across sales, client service, analytics, product, and finance teams
- Align stakeholders behind common commercial goals and priorities
- Drive consistency and efficiency in go-to-market approaches
- Support the MD on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
- Provide clear visibility on risks, opportunities, and performance vs targets
- Drive focus on profitability and sustainable growth
- Lead development of board materials, executive reporting, and strategic updates
- Act as a trusted advisor and proxy for the MD where required
- Ensure delivery and governance of key strategic initiatives and transformation programmes
