About the Role

Develop scalable data governance concepts for enterprise clients, translating business requirements into technical solution designs using Microsoft Purview. Plan and implement Microsoft Purview environments, including Data Catalogs, Data Lineage, and access controls, ensuring stable and secure operations. Integrate Microsoft Purview with modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks (including Unity Catalog) to ensure end-to-end technical data governance across all data sources. Take technical responsibility in Data & AI projects, coordinate team members, and liaise closely with clients and internal stakeholders from business and IT. Act as the central point of contact for business and technical questions regarding data governance, advising teams on best practices, processes, and standards. Support colleagues as a sparring partner, actively share knowledge, and contribute to the development of our Data & AI Consulting portfolio. Monitor trends in data architectures and data governance, evaluate new technologies, and develop innovative solutions for the data world of tomorrow.

Actively share knowledge.
Contribute to the development of the Data & AI Consulting portfolio.
Monitor trends in data architectures and data governance.

Requirements

Several years of professional experience in Data & AI Consulting or Software Engineering with a focus on Data Governance and modern data platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Purview, Azure Databricks (including Unity Catalog), and Microsoft Fabric, with practical experience in customer projects.
Knowledge of Data Governance challenges and processes in large enterprises.
Ability to manage data and compliance requirements securely.
Experience in developing appropriate role and responsibility models.
Ability to lead projects and sub-projects independently.
Experience in coordinating teams.
Strong customer orientation.
Clear communication with business departments and IT.
Strong passion for data.
Drive the development of modern data platforms.
Desire to actively shape the data governance landscape of clients as a pioneer.
In-depth AI expertise.
Active involvement in the responsible use of AI.
