About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, highly motivated lawyer to work in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment within a leading global law firm. You will work alongside senior lawyers on a wide range of derivatives matters, advising on the negotiation and documentation of various derivative products, structured finance transactions, and regulatory matters. The role will also involve supporting clients in the development and execution of risk management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Advising on the negotiation and documentation of various derivative products, structured finance transactions, and regulatory matters.
- Supporting clients in the development and execution of risk management strategies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements, including ISDA master agreements, credit support documentation, and derivative trading agreements.
Requirements
- Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales (candidates with experience from other jurisdictions may also be considered).
- Experience at a top-tier UK, US, or international law firm, with a focus on derivatives and structured finance.
- A strong academic background, with a solid understanding of derivatives products and financial markets.
- Experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on ISDA agreements, master agreements, and related documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex transactions with a high level of accuracy.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude, with a willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically in a dynamic and rapidly evolving legal landscape.
