About the Role
In this rewarding overnight role, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals with disabilities by ensuring they receive high-quality healthcare and attention during non-daytime hours in a residential setting. As a key member of the overnight team, you'll administer medications and treatments, provide hands-on care as needed, and monitor the health and safety of residents throughout the night. You'll keep accurate medical records, respond to any health-related concerns that arise, and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Performs nursing duties within the NYSED Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice.
- Maintains current medical, medication, anecdotal, and immunization records on all assigned individuals daily, monthly, and/or annually as specified by regulations.
- Administers prescribed medical treatments/medications to individuals according to physician's orders and maintains accurate record keeping to include: physician's orders, acquisition, storage, and disposal.
Requirements
- Current valid NYS licensed LPN.
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License that meets the Agency Driver standards.
- No lifting restrictions.
