About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join Red Badger. You will start projects on the right track, setting a high bar for quality and providing discipline expertise to design, build and launch new digital products and services. You will be responsible for influencing and working with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. You will be a conduit between the Red Badger team and the client, co-creating and driving the product vision, owning the backlog and connecting the business strategy with end-user value.
Responsibilities
- Drive successful outcomes from our clients’ product strategy and vision.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to design, validate and build cutting-edge products and services.
- Identify and prioritise user value, carefully balancing business and user needs to create and launch successful products and ongoing iterations.
- Champion the product discipline on complex digital transformation projects.
- Be a passionate advocate for User-Centred Design methodologies, lean approaches to user testing, research, and data-driven UXD.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality and project delivery, and be comfortable with helping businesses make difficult tradeoffs to deliver value to users in the shortest time frame.
- Be a trusted advisor to our clients by collaborating with them to solve problems, and create products and services which deliver business and user value.
- Build strong relationships with client teams in industry-leading organisations.
- Rapidly build domain expertise within our clients’ industries, understand their existing market(s) and user segments, and help them identify new ones.
- Communicate with confidence to a broad range of stakeholders and client teams.
- Empower our clients to embed lasting change within their organisations.
- Be aware of trends and how they will shape products of the future.
- Support building teams aligned with Red Badger’s values.
- Help to mentor more junior members of the team.
- Drive a culture of joy, quality and growth with Badgers and clients.
- Champion Red Badger’s ways of working: cross-functional teams, agile and lean best practices, building quality in.
- Understand and communicate the complete value chain (Engineering, QA, UXD, Insights and Delivery).
- Promote and live Red Badger’s principles.
- Be an ambassador for Red Badger, and an advocate for ‘doing the right thing’, ‘doing the thing right’, supporting and enabling others to do so.
Requirements
- Proven track record of identifying user and business needs, and testing product/market fit.
- Experience building and launching digital products using Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Experience delivering successfully in complex environments and ability to clearly articulate the user and business value of delivered work.
- Previously held a Product Management or similar role.
- Comfortable owning and shaping product vision / roadmap and prioritising a product backlog.
- Uses data to drive decisions and help others to do the same.
- Able to tailor message to suit audience’s needs using exceptional communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
- Growth mindset; always learning, curious to test and unafraid to fail.
- Continuously improves what they do and how they do it, and takes others on that journey.
- Proactive and always looking for ways to make things better.
- Honest and tells things as they are in an approachable and down-to-earth manner.
- Has clear points of view to give others direction and purpose.
