About the Role
This role is key to growing Attensi's presence in the Hospitality and Leisure sector by identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities with leading hospitality brands in the UK and Europe. You will help these brands transform their employee training, onboarding, and development.
Responsibilities
- Get to know Attensi's products, values, people, and operations.
- Identify ideal hospitality customers and pursue conversations with key decision-makers.
- Prospect, generate leads, and build awareness of Attensi in the Hospitality sector.
- Understand prospective customers' business models, operational priorities, workforce challenges, and training needs through research and insight.
- Map customer challenges related to onboarding, service quality, compliance, leadership, customer experience, sales, operational consistency, and employee performance.
- Conduct discovery conversations and fact-finding sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Communicate Attensi's value proposition in a relevant, commercial, and customer-specific manner.
- Help customers understand the limitations of traditional training or LMS-led approaches.
- Support new business opportunities from initial outreach through to handover.
- Collaborate with the Hospitality commercial team to support sector growth and develop best practices.
- Partner with Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Solution, and Bid/Proposal teams to shape customer responses.
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, tender responses, and commercial submissions.
- Develop reusable messaging, case studies, sector insight, and prospecting materials.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Drive knowledge about Attensi in the Hospitality space through insight, research, and market understanding.
Requirements
- Experience in new business development, sales, commercial partnerships, account development, or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
- A genuine interest in the Hospitality and Leisure sector and its operational challenges.
- Strong prospecting skills and confidence initiating conversations with new customers.
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders, ideally including director-level or C-suite contacts.
- A consultative selling style with the ability to uncover customer challenges and connect them to a value proposition.
- Strong research and fact-finding skills.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to understand buying motivations, value drivers, and business impact.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, account management, customer success, product, and delivery teams.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with confidence managing multiple opportunities and stakeholders.
- Energy, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
- Ideally, experience selling into hospitality, leisure, retail, SaaS, learning technology, HR technology, or another people-focused B2B environment.
- Ideally, some exposure to proposals, RFPs, tenders, or customer-specific commercial submissions.
