About the Role

We are looking for an experienced leader to head, modernize, integrate, and strategically develop our finance department. You will shape the future of our financial organization, from accounting and controlling to group-wide financial management, and accompany us on our growth path.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for accounting, controlling, and the further development of group-wide financial management.
• Ensuring proper accounting according to HGB and responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements.
• Building and further developing a modern budget, reporting, and forecasting system.
• Managing cash flow, liquidity, and investments in a dynamic corporate environment.
• Developing and implementing a professional financial strategy, including KPIs and decision-making bases.
• Actively participating in the restructuring into a holding structure.
• Accompanying and implementing the spin-off of individual business units into GmbHs (including tax and legal coordination).
• Building an intercompany-compliant financial architecture, including cash pooling, group reporting, and transfer pricing models.
• Leading and developing the accounting and controlling teams.
• Collaborating with tax advisors, auditors, banks, and authorities.
• Digitalizing and optimizing financial processes, systems, and data structures.
• Close collaboration with management on strategic and operational decisions.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable field.
• Several years of leadership experience in finance (accounting & controlling).
• Very good knowledge of HGB and experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Experience in building teams, structures, and financial processes.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and liquidity management.
• Experience in holding structures, GmbH spin-offs, or comparable reorganization processes.
• Confident interaction with tax advisors, auditors, and banks.
• High analytical competence and pronounced process understanding.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness, and confident demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex topics understandably.

Salary/Compensations

• 85,000 - 120,000 € Jahresbrutto
