About the Role
Join an established healthcare organization offering an excellent work-life balance and strong physician support. This full-time employed Gastroenterology position serves patients in both the ambulatory surgery center and hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat disorders affecting the digestive system through comprehensive patient evaluations
- Perform upper and lower endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies and other GI interventions
- Develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with primary care providers and specialists
- Review diagnostic testing, medical histories, and laboratory findings to guide patient care
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine REQUIRED
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology REQUIRED
- Proficiency Performing Endoscopic Procedures REQUIRED
- Proficiency Performing Colonoscopies REQUIRED
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) REQUIRED
- Ability to Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Gastrointestinal Disorders REQUIRED
- Excellent Communication and Collaborative Care Skills REQUIRED
