About the Role
This internship provides hands-on experience in combating crime and fraud while ensuring a top-notch customer onboarding experience. You will support the KYC Operations team, learning about Know-Your-Customer (KYC), regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering principles, and safety measures across all markets. Gain insights from experienced professionals in payments, banking, and consultancies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in and perform customer onboarding processes under guidance.
- Collect and verify customer information for AML compliance.
- Review and verify documents, contact information, identification records, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
- Continuously review, optimize, and improve internal processes.
Requirements
- Interest or initial experience in a customer-facing role.
- Keen interest in regulated Banking or FinTech fields preferred.
- Fluent in German (B2) and English (B2).
- Dutch, French, or Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Clear and collaborative communication skills, able to explain complex topics concisely.
- High attention to detail in data analysis and documentation.
- Ability to manage stakeholder requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Investigative approach to work, applying critical thinking and research for risk assessment and customer profile evaluation.
