About the Role
This role is responsible for attracting, assessing, and securing exceptional talent across public and private markets. You will partner closely with investment leaders to deliver strategic hiring plans that support business growth and long-term succession objectives. As a trusted advisor, you will influence hiring decisions, provide market intelligence, challenge thinking where appropriate, and ensure a high-quality, inclusive hiring process from workforce planning through to onboarding. The role requires deep expertise in asset management recruitment, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to hire into specialist and senior investment roles.
Responsibilities
- Attract, assess, and secure exceptional talent across public and private markets.
- Partner closely with investment leaders to deliver strategic hiring plans.
- Support business growth and long-term succession objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to influence hiring decisions.
- Provide market intelligence and challenge thinking where appropriate.
- Ensure a high-quality, inclusive hiring process from workforce planning through to onboarding.
- Manage executive search firms and external recruitment partners.
Requirements
- Significant experience recruiting within asset management or investment management.
- Proven track record hiring specialist investment professionals across public and/or private markets.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
- Strong market mapping, sourcing and talent pooling capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate market intelligence into hiring decisions.
