About the Role

Arcadis is seeking an Expert in Environmental Construction Supervision / Ecological Construction Supervision to join our Environmental team in Germany. This role is crucial for supporting infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and advising clients.

Responsibilities

• Environmental construction supervision / ecological construction supervision for infrastructure and construction projects, including overhead and underground power lines, road and rail projects, and renewable energy projects.
• Monitoring construction execution to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
• Developing landscape management execution plans and managing the implementation of compensation measures.
• Supporting and advising clients on related environmental topics.

Requirements

• University degree in landscape/environmental planning, natural sciences, geography/geoecology, forestry, agriculture, or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of nature conservation and environmental law.
• Several years of professional experience in environmental construction supervision / ecological construction supervision.
• Experience in environmental/landscape planning is desirable.
• Goal-oriented and independent work style, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
• Confident demeanor with clients and authorities.
• Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS, preferably ArcGIS PRO) is advantageous.
• Fluent German language skills.
• English language skills are desirable.
• Valid driver's license Class B.
