About the Role

BSBI is recruiting for a full-time Exams and Assessments Officer to support students and academic staff with exams, assignments, grading, and graduation documentation. This role reports to the Exams and Assessments Manager and involves processing daily tasks for exams and assessments services.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day tasks of the exams and assessments services.
• Serve as the central point of contact for student and staff inquiries regarding examinations and assessments.
• Assist in the organization of on-campus examinations, including timetabling, sourcing papers, partner institution approval, preparing materials and rooms, processing papers, and invigilation.
• Liaise with academic partner institutions regarding student grades and records.
• Administer Examinations and Assessments.
• Act as the main administrator for a program, handling all required administration with minimal supervision.
• Organize and administer Academic Misconduct Panels.
• Develop and implement internal procedures.
• Track student academic progress and flag students needing intervention or forwarding to a withdrawal board.
• Track the costs of student re-takes and ensure fee payment before results are issued.
• Undertake different or additional duties as required.
• Maintain the values of the Group and comply with the code of conduct, equality and diversity, health and safety, and safeguarding policies.

Requirements

• Previous work experience in an administrative position.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, particularly Excel).
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while following strict regulations.
