About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Producer to guide a creative and technical team, anticipate needs, establish initial processes, and foster a productive environment. This role involves close collaboration with discipline leads for organization and scheduling, and with leadership for stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses a positive and flexible attitude, and can scale processes effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Understand objectives, goals, and technical vision of the tech team and overall product.
  • Develop and execute aligned production processes, focusing on technical workstream sequencing, dependency management, and feedback loops.
  • Break down, quantify, and task technical work, including build systems, infrastructure, and platform integration.
  • Build and maintain roadmaps, milestone schedules, and team plans considering technical complexity and platform requirements.
  • Track progress across technical workstreams and proactively surface risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Select, implement, and maintain production tooling and processes for technical teams.
  • Prepare progress reports and presentation materials for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster clear communication and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Identify resource needs and collaborate with leadership to address them.
  • Establish scalable technical production foundations and onboard future technical producers.
  • Communicate identified technical challenges and planned solutions to the production team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to achieve objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in game production with substantial senior-level time across multiple shipped titles in a technical production role.
  • Experience with both internal and external production, tracking and reporting progress for internal dev teams and third parties.
  • Proven track record delivering games across more than one platform or genre.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of producers embedded in technical teams.
  • Proven ability to build and own technical production processes from scratch in an early-stage environment.
  • Strong command of agile methodologies and ability to select and implement appropriate tooling for technical teams (e.g., Jira, Linear, Perforce, GitHub).
  • Skilled at working with engineers and discipline leads to define, scope, and sequence technically complex work, including understanding build pipelines, branching strategies, and integration cadences.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation, sprint metrics, and system architecture overviews.
  • Confident preparing clear progress reports and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Self-directed and able to operate effectively with limited oversight in a fast-moving technical environment.
  • Background in UGC is preferred.
  • Experience working within a large consumer brand or entertainment company with external technical partners or licensors is preferred.
  • Prior experience as an engineer, technical artist, or in a technical role before moving into production is a nice-to-have.
