About the Role

We are seeking a pragmatic developer with a genuine product mindset to explore new workflows, try new approaches, and actively shape the future of our platforms using Agentic Coding. You will be instrumental in rolling out Agentic Coding within our development processes, leveraging AI support for Java backends, Angular websites, and React Native apps.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the rollout of Agentic Coding in development, exploring how to best utilize agents in coding cycles (features, bugs, refactoring).
• Write and maintain productive code in Java backends, Angular websites, and React Native apps, progressively using AI support.
• Conceptualize features from a user's perspective and use Agentic Coding to quickly deliver functional prototypes (MVPs) and new product features.
• Test various approaches, such as Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted test generation, to understand practical effectiveness.
• Share insights, successes, and failures with the local team to foster organizational learning.

Requirements

• Solid development foundation with practical experience in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular and/or React Native).
• Product affinity and user focus, constructively questioning requirements and understanding end-user benefits.
• High affinity for AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), eagerness to try new features, and comfort with unconventional solutions.
• Patience with AI workflows that may not work immediately and enjoyment in optimization.
• Willingness for direct, agile exchange in German and English.
• Readiness for a work model with 80% presence in the Berlin office (4 days onsite, 1 day flexible remote).
