About the Role
As Team Lead for Post Activation, you'll own how thousands of merchants experience their first 28 days on Wolt. You'll lead a distributed team responsible for early merchant success, focusing on merchant outcomes, team development, and turning operational and performance insights into better processes across the merchant lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of ~9 Post-Onboarding Success Specialists, owning their coaching, performance, and growth.
- Drive core outcomes: Magic Moment achievement, F28D availability, and merchant self-sufficiency.
- Set the standard for how the team supports merchants, including availability, app usage, menu and image quality, campaign and Ads setup, and platform education.
- Analyze performance data to identify drivers of results and translate findings into team focus areas.
- Design scalable processes and playbooks to replace manual work with repeatable workflows and self-service enablement.
- Embrace change and help develop new ways of measuring and driving merchant success.
- Own the feedback loop with Onboarding and partner with cross-functional teams to fix root causes and improve handovers.
- Recruit, onboard, and coach new team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, merchant/customer success, or operations.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team.
- Experience leading distributed or multi-location teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Track record of owning performance metrics and improving them through structured, scalable solutions.
- Proficiency with analytics and BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Sound judgment in a fast-changing environment.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change.
- Excellent communicator in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel regularly to other German offices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
