About the Role
CLS is seeking an IT Security Third Party Monitor & Compliance professional to lead the setup, development, and management of a new Third-Party Security Monitoring team. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with CLS security requirements and operationalizing the monitoring regime for critical third-party suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the set-up, development and management of the new Third-Party Security Monitoring team.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Drive the operationalisation and continuous monitoring of critical Third-Party supplier security obligations.
- Ensure compliance with CLS security requirements.
- Play a leading role in the set-up of the operational monitoring regime for "Security Delivery Obligations".
- Operate the monitoring regime, ensuring appropriate design and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure third parties have clear remediation plans for non-compliance.
- Review critical Third-Party supplier's security processes and documentation.
- Ensure alignment with CLS standards, CSD requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Set up and operate governance processes with supporting metrics and performance indicators.
- Liaise extensively with internal stakeholders (IT Security, Procurement, Legal, Risk) and critical Third-Party supplier stakeholders.
Requirements
- Oversee the Critical Third-Party Supplier Security Monitoring team, driving innovation.
- Ensure the team has a clear understanding of its roles and responsibilities.
- Lead Critical Third-Party Supplier Security Monitoring transformation programs.
- Implement robust security monitoring solutions.
- Identify Critical Third-Party Supplier Security Monitoring priorities.
- Tailor work and programs for CLS specific needs.
- Drive strategic influence and foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage with Procurement, Legal, Risk, other IT Security departments, and critical third-party suppliers.
- Experience in third-party security risk management, vendor oversight, or security governance (12-15 years).
- Approximately 8-10 years in a leadership role managing third-party security relationships.
- Experience leading team adherence to operational and compliance standards within highly regulated environments.
- Experience reporting on team performance and project progress to senior management, translating technical insights.
- Experience representing the team in governance forums or committees, providing expert input and driving outcomes.
- Understand, interpret and apply regulatory requirements, compliance and industry standards as pertains to critical Third-Party supplier Security Monitoring and Compliance.
