About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and scale high-performance systems in domains such as eCommerce and financial services. You will work on modern microservices architectures, contribute across the SDLC, and solve real-world problems impacting production systems at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures
  • Write clean, testable code with a focus on quality and maintainability
  • Contribute to automated testing (unit & integration)
  • Collaborate in an Agile team environment
  • Troubleshoot and improve live systems to ensure reliability

Requirements

  • At least 3–7 years of backend development experience
  • Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented design
  • Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases
  • Exposure to CI/CD, testing frameworks, and code quality tools
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with tools like JUnit, Mockito, Jenkins, SonarQube
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., MQ/Kafka)
  • Exposure to cloud or container platforms
  • Experience in banking or eCommerce systems
