- Lead commercial negotiations with the full range of customers within the WSI precinct.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage utility supply agreements that reflect the operational requirements, risk profile, and tenure of different customer pools.
- Build and sustain trusted commercial relationships with key customers and parent organisations, positioning WSI as the preferred utilities partner.
- Maintain working knowledge of the regulatory frameworks governing the delivery of utilities under their remit, ensuring customer agreements align with WSI’s regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with the WSI procurement team on supply-side arrangements for upstream utility contracts, as well as with other internal teams as required.
- Establish and maintain performance reporting frameworks regarding financial, regulatory, and commercial performance.
- Undertake financial modelling and similar analyses for the purpose of informing strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Substantial commercial experience in an infrastructure, utilities, energy, property, or similar environment, including direct experience negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements.
- Experience in airport, aviation, or large mixed-use precinct environments will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of customers across varying scales and levels of commercial sophistication, from large corporates to small business operators.

- Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to achieve commercially optimal outcomes while maintaining constructive stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working collaboratively across functions such as operations, legal, finance, and procurement.
- High standard of written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex commercial matters clearly to executive and Board-level audiences.
- Experience in embedded electricity network operations, energy retail, or commercial energy supply within an Australian regulatory context.
