About the Role
As a Manager on Duty, you will be a host, problem-solver, and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in daily hotel operations and a passion for guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support early and late shifts in various departments.
- Engage with guests, provide attentive service, and manage complaints effectively.
- Handle VIP guest relations.
- Utilize guest feedback to achieve satisfaction goals.
- Inspire guests and implement standards with the Quality Team, considering new trends.
- Assist in various departments, including check-in/out, restaurant service, and banquets.
- Focus on solutions and collaborate closely with all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, F&B).
- Actively participate in departmental and Function Sheet meetings.
- Manage and communicate effectively during guest complaints.
Requirements
- Completed hotel management vocational training and/or a degree in Hotel or Tourism Management.
- Several years of professional experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, or F&B management.
- Confident demeanor, teamwork skills, and good leadership qualities.
- Warm, authentic, and sociable personality.
- Excellent communication and expression skills in German and English; other languages are a plus.
- Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.
- Hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
- Interest in digital developments and their possibilities in the hotel industry.
- Proficient knowledge of Opera is a plus.
