About the Role

As a Manager on Duty, you will be a host, problem-solver, and detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in daily hotel operations and a passion for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Support early and late shifts in various departments.
  • Engage with guests, provide attentive service, and manage complaints effectively.
  • Handle VIP guest relations.
  • Utilize guest feedback to achieve satisfaction goals.
  • Inspire guests and implement standards with the Quality Team, considering new trends.
  • Assist in various departments, including check-in/out, restaurant service, and banquets.
  • Focus on solutions and collaborate closely with all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, F&B).
  • Actively participate in departmental and Function Sheet meetings.
  • Manage and communicate effectively during guest complaints.

Requirements

  • Completed hotel management vocational training and/or a degree in Hotel or Tourism Management.
  • Several years of professional experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, or F&B management.
  • Confident demeanor, teamwork skills, and good leadership qualities.
  • Warm, authentic, and sociable personality.
  • Excellent communication and expression skills in German and English; other languages are a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.
  • Hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
  • Interest in digital developments and their possibilities in the hotel industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of Opera is a plus.
