About the Role
Join Fever, the world's leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, and help shape the future of entertainment. This role involves leading a team to develop, launch, and manage events across the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for the region's P&L and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Create and lead a team to develop, launch, and manage events from A to Z.
- Be responsible for the region’s P&L, team development, and local industry connections.
- Represent Fever across all cities within the managed region.
- Define the strategy to grow the business in the region and the scalability of events to other markets.
- Build and manage the team for the UK and Ireland (Project Managers, Producers, Location Scouters, etc).
- Ensure individual team members are effective in achieving their quality and revenue goals.
- Define the strategy of the region for its growth by ensuring maximum sales performance, customer excellence, and operational quality.
- Manage the local portfolio of experiences based on data analyses.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with senior stakeholders from major entertainment and real estate companies.
- Manage big local partners and ensure the local network expands.
- Negotiate and close business deals with partners.
- Define and support the scalability of experiences in other cities.
- Report performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to local team members.
- Execute detailed analysis of business opportunities and processes.
- Represent Fever at local events and conversations.
Requirements
- Project management / startup or consulting background (9y+ experience).
- MBA from top-tier school preferred.
- Fluent English.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with large team management experience.
- Solution-focused, identifying problems and defining solutions with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience managing complex projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with strong skills in creating and developing relationships with C-level executives.
- Ability to influence/persuade all levels of staff.
- Able to coordinate and audit all different internal and external teams.
- Extensive networking skills and ability to make partnerships happen.
- Advanced commercial acumen - ability to understand counterparty, find leverage and negotiate high value deals.
- Curious and keen to push boundaries and try new concepts.
- Able to handle large amounts of work and parallel work-streams.
- This is not a position for an event production background.
