About the Role
You will support our podcast team in audio and video production, ensuring our formats are published cleanly, understandably, and reliably. Gain exciting insights into professional podcast productions and work closely on editorial audio formats while gathering valuable practical experience in audio editing, post-production, and editorial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Edit and process podcast and audio content with a focus on speech intelligibility, timing, dramaturgy, and technical quality to ensure a high-quality listening experience.
- Create simple video edits for podcast clips, social media snippets, or video podcasts.
- Prepare raw material, set edit marks, create rough and fine cuts, and support final export for a smooth production process.
- Collaborate closely with editorial teams on existing podcast formats to optimally implement content.
Requirements
- Studying in the field of media production, audio production, film, journalism, communication, media technology, or a comparable degree program.
- First practical experience in the audio, video, podcast, or radio environment, e.g., through internships, projects, or own formats.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing, ideally with Pro Tools, and initial experience in video editing, e.g., with Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Knowledge of Adobe Audition is desirable.
- A structured and meticulous way of working, understanding that good podcast editing must function not only technically but also content-wise.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (C2 level).
