About the Role
L’Occitane is seeking a current student pursuing a major in Visual Merchandising or Fashion Merchandising to join us as an intern. The intern will gain general Visual Merchandising knowledge through hands-on experience. The ideal candidate must be able to commit up to 28 hours/week.
Responsibilities
- Manage communications and requests from the field, fulfilling all requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly campaign development, mocking tables/creating presentations.
- Maintain and organize the locally sourced props and signage inventory, sourcing new props and placing orders as needed.
- Assist in the preparation for new and renovated boutiques, including prop and signage orders and preparation of floor layout packets.
- Maintain office showroom, ordering product as needed.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in normal office conditions.
- Must be able to work up to 28 hours per week.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Photoshop and creative design tools.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
- Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.
- Ability to manage deadlines.
- Interest in Beauty and Fashion.
