About the Role
Morrison Foerster’s Emerging Companies + Venture Capital practice is a top-tier global practice that partners with high-growth startups and leading investors. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-value, high-profile matters at the forefront of the evolving ECVC landscape.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of significant experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.
- Experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings.
- Experience with venture financings using NVCA documents while working in a premier corporate practice.
- Some experience with domestic M+A transactions particularly for startup companies and investors.
- Proactive with strong business sense and ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.
- Involvement with, or affinity for, technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses.
- Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.
- Commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward thinking.
- Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and judgment.
- Strong work ethic, team player attitude and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.
- Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in.

- $310,000 to $390,000
