About the Role

Join our Transmission Line Construction Team and contribute to LCRA Capital Portfolio projects across Texas. This role offers comprehensive training to safely work on transmission lines, with opportunities for growth towards becoming a High Line Worker Journeyman. Be part of our mission to improve the lives of Central Texans.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair transmission lines.
• Operate and maintain equipment including bucket trucks, boom trucks, drilling rigs, and winch trucks.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Safely climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights.

Requirements

• Zero or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction and/or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights, or relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills

• Experience working on transmission or distribution lines.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License.
