About the Role
Join the Transmission Line Construction Team as an equipment operator and contribute to LCRA projects across Texas. You will receive training to safely operate various equipment for transmission line and foundation work, with opportunities for advancement to a Transmission Equipment Operator Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment including bucket trucks, excavators, drill rigs, skid steers, and boom trucks.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of transmission lines.
- Construct rebar cages, concrete forms, and aid in pouring concrete foundations.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Safely climb wood and steel transmission structures to significant heights.
Requirements
- Zero or more years of experience operating large equipment (e.g., bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, tractor trailers, farm equipment).
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
