About the Role
Yard Associates are crucial for achieving world-class store performance by supporting branch strategy, performance, and growth. They organize product for deliveries and maintain branch organization.
Responsibilities
- Unload product from incoming trucks
- Load products into outbound vehicles, both customer and company
- Replenish or move product at the branch as directed
- Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support
- Partner with branch leadership to implement new technologies and ways of working
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
- Must have a safety-minded work ethic
- Must be customer-focused and an enthusiastic, dependable team player
- Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
Skills
- Green industry experience and familiarity with landscape, hardscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products is a plus
- Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader also a plus
