About the Role
This role focuses on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual mid-level donors, managing digital campaigns, and providing personalized donor engagement to maximize organizational resources and recruit new donors.
Responsibilities
- Creates and implements short- and long-term strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual mid-level donors.
- Oversees mid-level donor activities and communications to maximize organizational resources and engage new donors.
- Creates strategies to increase identified and potential donor support.
- Prepares analysis of fundraising activities for cultivation and solicitation strategies.
- Implements strategies to elevate mid-level donors to major donor status.
- Manages digital campaigns and personalized donor engagement for mid-level gifts ($1,000–$4,999).
- Builds and stewards a portfolio of annual donors, conducts one-on-one solicitations, and provides donor-facing experiences.
- Develops and executes multi-channel giving strategies.
- Collaborates with Development team members to identify prospects and track activity.
- Ensures strong cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across the annual giving pipeline.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries, donation requests, and donor updates.
- Implements stewardship and touchpoint strategies for a caseload of mid-level donors.
- Manages and implements donor recognition benefits and provides unique engagement and cultivation opportunities for mid-level donors.
- Builds audiences through donor database analysis to assess prospects, create prospect lists, and coordinate prospect review.
- Works closely with the immediate supervisor to implement strategies supporting mid-level donor work.
- Ensures donor cultivation opportunities are maximized and record-keeping is integrated into the donor database system.
- Provides advice and technical assistance as needed.
- Enters donor data, including contact, gift, communication, and Moves Management planning information into Interchange, following approved business rules.
- Implements communications plan for mid-level donors to steward them toward continued and increased giving.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, marketing, communication, liberal arts, or related field.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating a record of accomplishment in donor development, donor support, or related fields.
- Prior donor management and donor database experience.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints.
- Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles.
- Conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism.
- Valid State Driver's License.
