About the Role

We are seeking reliable and conscientious individuals who take pride in maintaining clean spaces and supporting our clients by providing an essential service – keeping their workforce safe. If you understand the importance of Health & Safety, sanitation, and cleanliness, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning, dusting, and sanitization of all facility areas and high touch points, including offices, washrooms, kitchens, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces.
• Ensure all consumables are restocked.
• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and promptly addressing spills.
• Manage the collection and disposal of all waste and recycling from across the facility.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and use of PPE.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or supply needs.
• Respond to cleaning requests as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements

• Previous commercial or heavy-duty cleaning experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safe chemical handling (WHMIS an asset).
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically able to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
