About the Role
As a Data Centre Relationship Manager, you will build trusted relationships with data centre owners, operators, consultants, EPCs, and other key industry stakeholders to strengthen EPSA's market presence and provide insights into Australia's growing data centre sector. You will act as a connection point between the data centre market and EPSA, maintaining visibility of opportunities, industry movements, and customer priorities. This role supports customer engagement, strengthens industry relationships, and provides market intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre operators, consultants, EPCs, packagers, and other key stakeholders across Australia.
- Develop a deep understanding of the data centre market, identifying emerging projects, industry trends, and customer priorities.
- Maintain accurate account mapping and opportunity visibility within Salesforce, ensuring a clear view of key stakeholders and market activity.
- Represent EPSA at industry events, customer engagements, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and industry connections.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer insights, market intelligence, and relationship support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience in account management, customer success, technical account management, industry engagement, or relationship-focused roles.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and communicating market intelligence or customer insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information.
- Experience within the data centre, critical infrastructure, power generation, engineering, construction, or mission-critical industries.
- Understanding of data centre design, construction, or operational environments.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Existing relationships within the Australian data centre industry.
