About the Role

This role is for an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for clinical governance, quality improvement, and aged care excellence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting UPA's services across New South Wales, helping to deliver exceptional care and positive outcomes for older Australians. This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical and quality support across UPA services.
• Lead the development and review of evidence-based clinical policies and procedures.
• Support compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and legislative requirements.
• Coach, mentor and educate clinical teams to strengthen best practice and improve care outcomes.
• Lead or contribute to organisation-wide quality improvement and clinical governance projects.
• Analyse clinical trends and recommend initiatives that enhance resident and client outcomes.
• Partner with leaders across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Regular travel across UPA services is an essential part of this role.

Requirements

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (with no restrictions).
• Relevant degree-level nursing qualification.
• Postgraduate qualification in aged care, health care or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a senior clinical role within the aged care sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance and quality management systems.
• Excellent clinical assessment, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• A genuine passion for improving the quality of care for older Australians.
