About the Role

Define and lead the GitHub Enterprise platform product vision and roadmap, aligned to platform modernization and developer experience goals. Lead a large-scale transformation, coordinating multiple workstreams to deliver a unified engineering platform for internal users.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the GitHub Enterprise platform product vision and roadmap.
• Lead a large-scale transformation, coordinating multiple workstreams (SCM migration, CI/CD modernisation, governance, AI enablement).
• Own and prioritise the platform backlog, balancing business value, developer experience, security, and regulatory needs.
• Drive migration delivery (e.g. Bitbucket → GitHub, Jenkins → Actions).
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, and vendors to define platform standards, operating models, and governance.
• Build AI natively into the SDLC, positioning agents as first-class platform users.
• Enable GitHub Copilot, automation, and self-service workflows.
• Enable self-service and paved path platform capabilities such as templates, reusable workflows, and standardised pipelines.
• Manage partner and vendor engagement.
• Track platform adoption and performance.

Requirements

• Experience defining and leading product vision and roadmap for a platform.
• Experience leading large-scale transformations and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Experience owning and prioritizing a platform backlog.
• Experience driving migration delivery (e.g. Bitbucket to GitHub, Jenkins to Actions).
• Experience partnering with engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, and vendors.
