About the Role

This is a high-impact opportunity to help shape digital experiences that connect customers with Zurich, strengthen our digital acquisition capability, and support our ambition of becoming Australia’s leading digital insurer. You will contribute to the evolution of our websites, customer journeys, platforms, and services, solving a wide variety of technical challenges, influencing engineering practices, and delivering modern digital experiences.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and enhance digital products, customer experiences, and web capabilities across the full technology stack.
Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations that support customer and business outcomes.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept through to production.
Contribute to engineering standards, technical direction, and continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
Support the delivery of digital acquisition and customer engagement capabilities through innovative technology solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security, and customer experience across digital platforms.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer delivering modern digital products and customer-facing applications.
Strong capability across frontend technologies, backend development, and API design.
Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions within complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple technologies and quickly learn new tools, platforms, and frameworks.
Experience contributing to software engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
