About the Role
We have an exciting fixed-term, full-time opportunity for a FSQ Coordinator to join our Quality team based out of our Seven Hills, NSW site! Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and report potential and actual food safety and quality risks arising during daily production.
- Provide hands-on support with day-to-day production troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspections, production line audits, and other food safety/quality audits as scheduled.
- Monitor compliance with site food safety and quality standards (“golden rules”), and schedule, document, and report results.
- Collect microbiological samples and coordinate testing with external laboratories; track and communicate results.
- Maintain the calibration register and coordinate equipment calibration activities to ensure testing and monitoring devices remain in specification.
- Report and document non-conformances relating to raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, and support investigation and corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen food safety, quality, and operational performance.
- Support cleaning and sanitation activities to ensure hygienic conditions are maintained.
- Review Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and release raw materials in line with site requirements.
- Manage retention samples, including storage, records, and retrieval as required.
- Provide support to other members of the FSQ team including duties assigned by the FSQ Lead.
Requirements
- Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment in a similar role (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and multitasking as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate to solve problems and improve systems/processes.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, as well as ongoing personal and professional development.
