About the Role

As a Case Manager – Family Preservation & Restoration, you'll play a vital role in helping vulnerable children remain safely with their families or supporting their safe restoration home. Working within our Community & Mission team, you'll deliver intensive, evidence-based case management that empowers families to build safer, healthier and more stable environments for their children.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver intensive case management and therapeutic support to vulnerable children and families.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments, case plans and interventions using the Parents Under Pressure (PuP) framework.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess safety, wellbeing and family progress.
  • Build strong partnerships with DCJ, carers and community agencies.
  • Maintain high-quality case documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Community Services, Social Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and families.
  • Demonstrated assessment, counselling and case management skills.
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and family preservation practices.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Two or more years' experience within child protection, family preservation or out-of-home care.
  • Experience working with DCJ.
  • Willingness to undertake accreditation as a Parents Under Pressure (PuP) Therapist.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and report writing skills.
