About the Role
MONTBLANC creates exclusive products including watches, jewelry, writing instruments and leather goods. This role involves setting commercial targets and sales plans for a region, ensuring targets are met through coordination of commercial channels, and contributing to corporate strategy.
Responsibilities
- Establish commercial targets in terms of volumes, profitability, market shares, and client base for the designated region or major country (e.g., US, Japan, China).
- Define sales plans and forecasts in alignment with Maison strategies.
- Ensure the achievement of targets through the coordination of all commercial channels.
- Contribute to the development of corporate strategy for the local organization by applying functional expertise, testing the viability of the strategy, and providing creative ideas and insights.
- Identify and develop the capabilities needed to meet current and emerging business needs, evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities.
- Motivate and mentor others to develop their capabilities and fulfill their potential.
- Manage and report on business performance, holding direct reports accountable for achieving business plans, and take corrective actions as necessary to balance short-term objectives with long-term stakeholder value.
- Identify and manage stakeholders up to the C-suite level, addressing their needs, issues, and concerns, and lead the development of stakeholder engagement plans.
- Develop and implement strategies for significant business areas, anticipating megatrends and complex challenges, ensuring alignment with long-term business needs.
- Lead the development of annual and long-term business plans, quantifying business outcomes and resource budgets, and ensuring integration of key activities across the organization.
- Oversee the design, development, and delivery of the organization's financial management and control strategy.
- Set and communicate the strategy for achieving the organization's mission, vision, and values, inspiring a diverse workforce to achieve business goals.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with senior executives of strategic accounts to facilitate business acquisition and retention.
- Represent the organization in various industry, institutional, and professional forums to promote the company brand.
- Develop and improve relationships with board members, identifying priorities, issues, and strategic challenges for discussion.
- Implement the organization's brand strategy and develop change management plans to support overall strategy.
- Ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion guidelines, using precise and descriptive language for tasks and responsibilities.
