About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager in the Online Payments team, you will shape products that make it easier for merchants to sell, grow and succeed. This role offers the opportunity to own a meaningful product area with significant growth potential, working alongside experienced product leaders, engineers and designers to solve complex customer problems by combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for a key product area, balancing customer needs, commercial opportunities and technical feasibility.
  • Validate opportunities through customer research, market insights, competitor analysis and data, turning problems into clear product priorities.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to define requirements, refine user stories and deliver high-quality products at pace.
  • Shape developer-friendly payment experiences, with a strong focus on APIs, integrations and scalable platform capabilities.
  • Measure product performance, identify opportunities through analytics and experimentation, and use insights to guide roadmap decisions.
  • Identify practical ways to leverage AI within the product and introduce automation that improves customer experiences and reduces manual effort across the business.
  • Partner with sales, operations and go-to-market teams to support launches, enable growth opportunities and help bring new capabilities to market.
  • Build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders, navigate competing priorities and keep delivery moving from concept through to launch.

Requirements

  • 4+ years' experience managing digital products within fintech, payments, banking or another regulated environment.
  • Experience building or managing API-first products, with a solid understanding of how developers integrate with platforms.
  • A background in software engineering, or a genuine interest in technology demonstrated through your work or personal projects, is highly regarded.
  • You've used AI to improve the way products are built or delivered, or introduced automation that has reduced manual effort and improved outcomes.
  • Experience translating customer insights into products that solve real problems.
  • You can explain technical concepts clearly and build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You enjoy working closely with engineering and design and know how to balance customer, technical and commercial priorities.
