About the Role
The Productivity Platform Solutions team within Customer & Core Services at Axel Springer IT centrally manages the Atlassian platform for the entire Axel Springer group. We operate and further develop a stable, secure, and scalable enterprise environment to maximize the productivity of our colleagues. Responsibilities
- Operate and develop the Atlassian platform (Jira, Confluence, JSM, Compass, JPD) to ensure stable and efficient processes.
- Design multi-site architectures, workflows, and automations to keep the platform flexible and scalable.
- Develop governance, policies, and templates to ensure standards and security.
- Support users through changes and enable structured onboarding and training on new features.
- Share knowledge within the team, coach colleagues, and jointly develop the platform.
- Advise Product Owners and teams on optimal platform solutions to enhance usage.
- Assist with the administration of the GitHub environment to create synergies in the tool stack.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in operating and further developing Atlassian Cloud in complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, multi-site structures, and automation (e.g., Scriptrunner, Automation, Forge, REST APIs).
- Proficiency in workflow design, identity & access management, and third-party system integration.
- Experience with governance models, policies, and operating models in large organizations.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request) and CAB preparation.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and their application in projects and daily business.
- Ideally, possess Atlassian certifications (ACP level).
- Very good German language skills (C1) and English language skills (B2/C1).
