About the Role

The candidate will be responsible for the management of contracts with customers, vendors, suppliers, partners, or employees, including drafting, execution, and analysis to maximize financial and operational performance and minimize risk. This role involves negotiating contract terms, ensuring compliance, documenting changes, and maintaining a contract database. The position requires policy and strategy implementation, problem-solving for moderately complex issues, and influencing outside of the immediate job area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end assistance and guidance for the entire lifecycle of the contract.
  • Ensure all contract management activities are executed in accordance with Company/Business Unit directives and instructions.
  • Ensure the portfolio of contracts in the HUB business follows contract and claim management methodologies.
  • Conduct contract and claims negotiations and settlements.
  • Review and comment on commercial tender terms and conditions.
  • Analyze prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Coordinate with BU Head of CM for a common approach to contract management within the HUB.
  • Organize Contract Management in the respective geographical area.
  • Drive resource needs to respond to business requirements on contract management.
  • Define procedures applicable to HUB in coordination with BU.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law.
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience.
  • Experience in Contract management/legal in EP/EPC energy company or similar industrial manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
  • Experience working within internationally staffed teams and with international contractual partners.
  • Solid experience in negotiation, change management, claim management, and contract-related issues.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and intercultural awareness.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Systematic and structured work style.
  • Ability to negotiate in English.
  • Any other additional language is an advantage.
