About the Role

The Commercial Sales Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey. We are responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft. The Commercial Sales team is customer-facing team and provides strategic and technical deal-based engagement to drive revenue and reduce time to consume and deliver a seamless transition to new commerce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and business growth for Microsoft while ensuring compliance throughout the sales process.
  • Understand customer needs, address objections, and tailor commercial solutions for long-term success.
  • Lead internal and external sales through commercial constructs and deal making, optimizing investment and customization by leveraging price and non-price concessions.
  • Identify and maximize business opportunities with new offerings like Copilot, strategizing and executing deals successfully.
  • Be responsible for the negotiation strategy by collaborating with Sales and Finance stakeholders to define the strategy and drive internal alignment on pricing, terms, and conditions.
  • As the Lead Negotiator, prepare compelling negotiation proposals, articulate value propositions, and address customer concerns effectively.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, partners, Account Team, and Specialist Teams to help customers achieve business goals and Microsoft achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with peers in other areas to achieve business continuity, balance workload, and share learnings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education (or equivalent) or related field AND 5+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience OR 7+ years sales and negotiation experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English is a bona fide occupational requirement due to technical and specialized tasks requiring the use of English to meet customer needs while working in an integrated fashion with colleagues around the world.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in French is considered an asset.
