About the Role

Lead transformational capital projects that enhance the lives of older Australians. This is a senior client-side leadership opportunity for a commercially astute project professional who can bring strong governance, stakeholder leadership and delivery discipline to complex projects within a purpose-driven organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of major capital works projects across NSW.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, risk registers and governance reporting.
  • Manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Lead design coordination, approvals, procurement and construction delivery.
  • Oversee contract administration including variations, claims, RFIs and cost reporting.
  • Monitor project performance against safety, quality, programme and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate commissioning, operational readiness, handover and defects management.
  • Build strong relationships with executives, operational leaders, government bodies and external partners.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and support to Project Managers and project resources.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, property, planning or a related discipline.
  • 8–10+ years’ experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from concept to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, cost control, risk management and project governance.
  • Experience leading consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of NSW planning, building and WHS requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to UPA project sites across NSW.
