About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated backend engineer to join the CDE Platform team. You will design, build, and scale foundational services that orchestrate data, content, and execution logic across CrowdStrike's products. This role is key to creating a high-performance, scalable, and resilient platform for real-time detection generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications across CrowdStrike products.
• Leverage and build cloud-based systems to detect targeted attacks and automate cyber threat intelligence production at a global scale.
• Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams.
• Champion the newest technologies and tricks, raising the technical IQ of the team.
• Be mentored and mentor other developers on web, backend, and data storage technologies and our system.
• Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability.
• Own your work in a high trust environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems.
• Understanding of scalability and distributed systems (e.g., sharding, partitioning, concurrency).
• Team player.
• Thorough understanding of engineering best practices, including testing paradigms, effective peer code reviews, and resilient architecture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative programming environment.
• Skills to meet commitments on time and produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
