About the Role
Entry level Research Analyst to join Cushman & Wakefield's Australian Research Team. Contribute to industry-leading market intelligence, assisting internal stakeholders with property and investment decisions. Work alongside experienced researchers to analyze data, maintain databases, prepare presentations, and support research reports. Ideal for a property economics student or recent graduate seeking a career in commercial property.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse and interpret commercial property market data
- Maintain and develop research databases and market intelligence systems
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, market updates and thought leadership content
- Develop presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to research requests from business teams and clients
- Support business development activities through market insights and analysis
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators and industry developments
- Collaborate with local and national teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Assist with client presentations and market briefings as required
Requirements
- Current Bachelor of Property Economics, Finance or Economics University student or recent graduate
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Stand-out interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
- Comfortable working with senior colleagues and collaboratively within a team environment
- An interest in commercial property, economics, investment or market research
- Previous research, analytical or property industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience supporting proposals, submissions or business development activities is highly regarded
