About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the progress of translation projects
- Perform post-editing and quality control of machine translation
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate resources
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders (translators, designers, engineers, and clients)
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress
- Communicate with domestic and international B2B clients (via email, Slack, and online meetings)
- Handle inquiries and follow-ups
- Gather client feedback and share it internally
- Propose solutions to existing clients and maintain relationships
- Propose services to new clients
- Review and quality-check deliverables
- Support contract negotiations and terms adjustments
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales and business development (any industry)
- Business-level English proficiency
- Japanese proficiency: Ability to communicate smoothly with clients via text
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a sense of responsibility
Skills
- Experience in the entertainment industry (publishing, manga, anime, games, etc.)
- Sales and project management experience at advertising agencies or in the printing industry (e.g., Toppan Printing)
- Sales experience targeting enterprise-level companies
- Experience building automation solutions using GAS (Google Apps Script) and AI
- A strong interest in entertainment and manga
- Translation experience or an understanding of the translation industry
- Language skills in languages other than Japanese and English
