About the Role
The Global Strategic Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. This role will cover the largest global clients, aligned to the company’s strategy and supporting global directives, while driving a high-performance culture within the Americas region. By collaborating with internal partners, the strategic global Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution, managing a defined global book of business and being accountable for the commercial close of all deals, while also opening up larger solution opportunities and introducing Solution and Proposition Sales.

- Accountability for the retention and growth of a multi-million-dollar book of business
- Growing Refinitiv revenue and market share at high value and complex designated accounts to achieve Refinitiv’s strategic objectives
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker’s strategies, priorities and needs
- Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest
- Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts
- Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv footprint within their accounts
- Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue
- Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end-to-end customer relationship
- Drive efficiency in account administration
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals
- Accountable and responsible for simple order taking
- Manage a defined book on a proactive basis
- Responsible for revenue retention, sales, and administration of their accounts
Requirements
- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
- Industry experience within the customer segment
- Strong product knowledge

- Significant work experience in applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required
