About the Role

The Vice President, Custom Analytics leads a high-performing team of data scientists, analytics consultants, and insight specialists to deliver strategic, high-impact analytics solutions. This role requires a visionary leader to drive the evolution of the analytics product suite, balancing bespoke engagements with the development of scalable, reusable assets while collaborating with engineering to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for custom analytics and derived products
  • Develop and deliver a consistent product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Drive data-driven business outcomes and manage key performance indicators
  • Oversee product incubation, go-to-market strategy, P&L management, and lifecycle maintenance
  • Establish product management disciplines including Studio framework and Agile development
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost allocation
  • Communicate program value to senior and executive management
  • Lead and motivate direct and cross-functional teams
  • Foster a user-centric culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
  • Engage in Voice of the Customer activities to identify and resolve friction points
  • Drive institutionalized knowledge through consistent documentation and process repeatability

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy
  • Track record of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience as a leader of leaders with strong interpersonal and talent development skills
  • Ability to communicate with impact, eloquence, and authenticity to all levels
  • Experience building organizational relationships and influencing executive leadership
  • Experience applying customer feedback to product strategy and new product incubation
  • Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights
  • Ability to coach teams on end-to-end product ownership
  • Experience developing and evangelizing product lifecycle management processes and tools

  • $235,000 - $375,000 USD
