About the Role
The Vice President, Custom Analytics leads a high-performing team of data scientists, analytics consultants, and insight specialists to deliver strategic, high-impact analytics solutions. This role requires a visionary leader to drive the evolution of the analytics product suite, balancing bespoke engagements with the development of scalable, reusable assets while collaborating with engineering to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for custom analytics and derived products
- Develop and deliver a consistent product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Drive data-driven business outcomes and manage key performance indicators
- Oversee product incubation, go-to-market strategy, P&L management, and lifecycle maintenance
- Establish product management disciplines including Studio framework and Agile development
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost allocation
- Communicate program value to senior and executive management
- Lead and motivate direct and cross-functional teams
- Foster a user-centric culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
- Engage in Voice of the Customer activities to identify and resolve friction points
- Drive institutionalized knowledge through consistent documentation and process repeatability
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy
- Track record of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience as a leader of leaders with strong interpersonal and talent development skills
- Ability to communicate with impact, eloquence, and authenticity to all levels
- Experience building organizational relationships and influencing executive leadership
- Experience applying customer feedback to product strategy and new product incubation
- Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights
- Ability to coach teams on end-to-end product ownership
- Experience developing and evangelizing product lifecycle management processes and tools
