About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose.
  • Assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents.
  • Ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.
  • Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
  • Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

Requirements

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Full-time working rights with no limitations.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
  • All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
  • A passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining residents’ dignity and independence.
  • Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.
