About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering polished, accessible interfaces and ensuring platform quality through thoughtful implementation and problem-solving. Your work will involve building and maintaining the frontend Angular application, contributing to our Design System and Component Library, and driving accessibility standards across the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members, designers, and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design effective frontend solutions.
  • Take technical ownership of entire software projects, ensuring frontend architecture and applications are robust, accessible, and user-friendly.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of frontend code (Angular) to production.
  • Build and maintain reusable components within our Design System and Component Library.
  • Ensure all user-facing features meet WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Produce clear, detailed documentation, including component usage guides, architectural decisions, and code comments.
  • Investigate and resolve frontend issues based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
  • Champion frontend best practices and accessibility standards by following clean, standardised coding conventions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Actively contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making within the team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development, primarily with Angular.
  • Proven experience working with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
  • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and assistive technology support.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend technologies, HTML semantics, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Ability to design and implement frontend solutions based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Experience with testing and verifying code.
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication, particularly for technical documentation.
  • Experience with GitHub and Jira.
