About the Role
This role is for an experienced operator to manage the business operations of Samsara Eco end-to-end, including office operations, vendor and facilities management, executive support to the CEO, and board meeting coordination. The role suits school-hour availability (9am–3pm).
Responsibilities
- Full ownership of office operations, including systems, procedures, supplies, and workflows.
- Manage facilities and vendors, including maintenance, suppliers, service providers, and relationship building.
- Provide executive support to the CEO, including diary management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and stakeholder liaison.
- Assist with board meeting coordination, including pack preparation, scheduling, logistics, and action tracking.
- Partner with People & Culture on onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, and company events.
- Plan and organize events, offsites, team gatherings, and celebrations.
- Coordinate travel for the CEO, leadership team, and wider team as needed.
- Manage compliance and recordkeeping, including company records, licenses, policies, and WHS/OHS documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years in office management, operations, or executive support, ideally in a fast-moving or scaling company.
- Demonstrated experience with vendor and facilities management.
- Comfort operating alongside senior leadership, board members, and investors, with the necessary judgment and discretion.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to build process where none exists and improve existing processes.
- Calm, precise communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities without sacrificing detail.
- Genuine alignment with Samsara's mission and values.
